Luke joined the staff of Irving Church as a teaching pastor in early 2020, just in time to stop everything and wait for the Coronavirus to pass. He is learning to follow Jesus along with his treasured wife, Olivia, and 4 precious children, Sydney, Abree, Eden, and William. Luke has received theological degrees from Biola University in Los Angeles and Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. Occasionally, Luke believes he has said something profound and original because he has forgotten where he read it. Usually, he quotes Dallas Willard.
